On the 25th of October 2022, the Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology co-organized with 6 other government and private agencies from Malaysia and Japan a workshop on the University-Industry-Government (UIG) Partnership for Environmental Resilience and Sustainability in conjunction with Malaysia-Japan Joint International Conference 2022 (MJJIC 2022). This workshop was officiated by Deputy Director General (Business Sector) of DID Malaysia, YBhg. Datoโ€™ Ir. Sabri Abdul Mulok.

Ten (10) representatives from various divisions of DID Malaysia had participated in this workshop. The Deputy Director of HTC KL, Ir. Dr. Norlida Mohd Dom had been invited to present her paper entitled โ€œSmart Partnerships on Flood and Debris Flow Management in Malaysiaโ€ in response to the 2030 Agenda particularly the SDG 17 – Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development, IR4.0 & The ninth phase of the Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme (IHP – IX 2022-2029).
