Seminar on Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment for Professional and Management Women’s Office Of DID Malaysia

5 - 7 July 2022

This seminar was attended by the Deputy Director of HTC KL, YBrs. Ir. Dr. Norlida Mohd Dom and sixty (60) officers of DID Malaysia in Kuantan, Pahang. The main objective of this seminar was to increase the awareness and importance of gender equality and women’s empowerment to overcome global transformation in the water sector. This seminar was officiated by the Deputy Director General (Specialist Sector) of DID Malaysia, YBrs. Ir. Hjh. Bibi Zarina Che Omar. In supporting the SDGs, this seminar was related to the SDGs (5 –
Gender Equality, 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation, and 17 – Partnerships for the Goals). Currently DID women officers is 54.7% of the total DID staffs.
